Best Group Video Conversations With A 1000 User Audience Are Now Possible On Telegram

Up to 30 users may utilise the cameras on their iPhones or Macs to participate in a video conversation thanks to a new feature added to Telegram in June. This user limit was raised in an upgrade to the same functionality at the end of July.

A relatively new feature known as Group Video Calls 2.0 now enables up to 1,000 viewers in a single group. Telegram keeps the 30-user cap for group video streaming in place as long as the number of viewers is increasing.

Telegram plans to keep raising the cap until "everyone on earth" is able to participate in a single group call.

With a limited number of active users and a big number of observers, this shift aligns Telegram with other services that provide large-scale group calls. Due to this, Telegram could be appealing to educators, educational institutions, and individuals who want to safeguard discussions during online meetings.

The higher-resolution video message functionality that allows users to zoom in on is being improved by Telegram as part of the same release. In a private call, audio from the device will now play during screen sharing. The media player supports playback rates of 0.5, 1.5, and 2.

Along with the previously existing 1 day and 1 week choices, automatic message deletion now has a 1 month option as well. The most recent version also has an improved sketching system, a new passcode animation, and a new camera in the iOS app.

A device running iOS 9.0 or later is required in order to use Telegram.
