Panasonic Connect launches next-generation 1-chip DLP projector PT-REQ12/REZ12. Spatial Production Opportunities
Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Panasonic") is happy to announce the fiscal 2023 introduction of the next-generation 1-chip DLP projector "PT-REQ12 Series," which opens up new possibilities for spatial presentation with a range of visual beauties, including 4K resolution. "PT-REZ12 series" releases quarterly. Open retail pricing.
History
Immersive entertainment has extended to museums, theme parks, and commercial buildings. Visitors are growing more accustomed with such plays, and it is suggested that spectators must be given a fresh experience via video presentations with unparalleled detail and feelings.
Yet, on-site operations, such as equipment installation, adjustment, and administration, are growing increasingly complicated, making it difficult to enhance efficiency.
The PT-REQ12/REZ12 projectors suit these demands. The series supports seamless video playback at 240 Hz, moving object projection mapping, and 4K resolution as a single-chip DLP model of 8,000lm to 12,000lm, substantially increasing detail. It may enable directing.
"Electric peripheral focus" lenses and an Intel SDM expansion slot are also available. We will improve on-site efficiency and workflow flexibility.
Modern video performance
The innovative 2-axis pixel shift technology "Quad Pixel Drive" allows this series to initially react to an unfamiliar visual experience with 4K quality. Its 240Hz refresh rate lets it play back fast-moving video seamlessly with a delay of 6ms or less without afterimages.
The production options are unlimited, including simulations, eSports contests, and mapping to moving objects utilising the company's high-speed tracking projection mapping technology (ET-SWR10).
Due to better lens performance, native contrast has risen and black sinking has sharpened for immersive creation. has achieved dynamic contrast that accurately adjusts the light source based on a novel picture scene analysis circuit. Even black beyond the picture display region may be suppressed, allowing flawless projection on multi-screens.
Enable fluid workflows
To simplify difficult procedures, the series will add choices, functionalities, and interfaces.
First, the new lens range incorporates motorised peripheral focus adjustment. Supposedly
To achieve spatial presentation flexibility, we increased lens shift range and enhanced flare and colour bleeding.
The connection terminal now incorporates an Intel SDM standard expansion slot, allowing the installation of a 12G-SDI terminal board, a DIGITAL LINK terminal board, or even a third-party interface board.
The primary device includes an update kit for "geometric distortion correction / installation adjustment software" and a new feature that lets you use any material as a "user test pattern" without entering the source. It performs laborious tasks including calibration for complicated uneven surfaces, multi-screen correction, black level and colour matching, and finish precision.
Strong redundancy and modern cabinet design
The company's initial 1-chip DLP model has a liquid cooling system and an IP5X-compliant sealed optical engine for 20,000 maintenance-free hours. Its small, lightweight, and dependable cabinet is novel.
The "multi-laser drive engine" is redundant. Even if the input signal is damaged, it will promptly switch to the backup input, guaranteeing numerous levels of redundancy that will not cease performance. It is a safe, practical design that can be fixed quickly if an issue arises.
