What is the biggest reason for Teslas success?

Listed below are the top ten factors that will make Tesla the most profitable company of the 2010s.I know this seems crazy, but I think a vehicle manufacturer will end up being the most influential business of the 2010s. In this case, Tesla in particular.

What is the biggest reason for Teslas success?

If so, why?

Please consider my opinions

Aims of Tesla's Enterprise

"Tesla's goal is to speed up the global shift to renewable energy sources."

It was taken verbatim from Tesla's official website. Elon Musk, Tesla's creator, CEO, and self-proclaimed "Technoking" (yep, that's his title) strongly believes in the need of sharing knowledge and encouraging innovation, which is why Tesla has made its patents publicly available.

Elon thinks that rivals won't be able to catch up to Tesla even if they have access to the company's intellectual property because of Tesla's superior software and manufacturing.

Building a strong organisation starts with a cause people are passionate about. The pursuit of making the world a better place to live is, in my opinion, one of the most admirable goals that might be undertaken.

Contrast this with Tesla's specialised industry (es)

That Tesla is only a "vehicle business" is a huge misnomer.

It's a green energy firm that offers solar roofing tiles and photovoltaic panels.

It's a company that specialises in storing energy, and it sells Powerwalls and Megapacks to homes, companies, and even nations.

To put it simply, it's a company that provides electricity to households and businesses.

They produce battery packs and cells for electric vehicles using their own 4680 cell technology.

It also produces and sells some of the quickest and most energy-efficient electric vehicles in the world. 🌍

It's a car company that's making pickup trucks (Cybertrucks), semis (Semitrucks), and quads (Cyberquads).

It's a business that helps keep Teslas running smoothly by stocking and delivering the tools, parts, and service technicians needed to keep them in tiptop shape.

More than 25,000 Supercharging stations can be found across the world, making this a worldwide network for fast charging.

It's an insurer that protects its customers when they hit the road in one of its vehicles.

It's an IT firm that develops its own mobile applications and the car's user interface.

Using artificial intelligence, the company has created the software for fully autonomous vehicles (Level 5 Autonomy) and the Tesla Robot.

A maker of supercomputers, it is creating history's most powerful computer to fuel its artificial intelligence.

Bitcoin is held and sold in exchange for other currencies throughout the globe, making it a currency dealer.

Overall, Tesla is very vertically integrated and specialises in a wide variety of fields.

Tesla has a culture of striving for excellence in every area of operation. If Tesla says they're going to accomplish something, they do it to the best of their ability.

They weren't content with merely making a quick electric automobile; they set out to create the world's fastest production car.

They set out to create safe vehicles, and they succeeded; the Model 3 was the safest automobile ever tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration when it was first introduced. The Model Y also scored very well.

When it comes to safety, the NHTSA has a lot of questions for Tesla.

They want to be able to manufacture 10 terawatt-hours of battery capacity by 2030, which means they won't be pleased with a Gigafactory. As compared to other established manufacturers, Volkswagen is in the forefront of electrification, with "ambitious" plans to reach 240 GWh of capacity by 2030. That, plus another 10gWh, is what Tesla hopes to crank out of their brand-new Berlin plant alone in the not-too-distant future.

Instead than striving for perfect driver aids, their focus is on completely autonomous cars, which are currently 10 times safer on the road than human drivers. Transportable theatres with Netflix and no controls for the wheels.

Even after selling their vehicles, they find something to improve with, so they provide free software upgrades to their customers. Other features include expanded entertainment options like the YouTube app and the Fallout Shelter game, a security camera recording system called Sentry mode, increased power and range, faster charging speeds, improved mapping, updated charging stations, and much more.

Tesla collects data from its whole fleet and uses it to fine-tune and enhance its features, including airbag deployment safety, automatic wiper sensitivity, and precise self-driving.

They were unhappy with the slow and low-quality results of welding, so they invested in a Gigapress/gigastamp to stamp out vehicle bodywork as they were playing with play dough. In doing so, they are able to build an automobile every two minutes.

With Elon Musk, they have a trump card

Whatever you may feel about him, there's no denying that he's a visionary with incredible dedication and the capacity to galvanise a cult-like following. His latest businesses are performing well, following in the footsteps of his previous successes with Zip2 and X.com (which became PayPal).

SpaceX sent four average citizens into orbit in September. For three days, they went farther into space than the International Space Station or any human since we left the moon. There has been a rapid expansion of the Starlink satellite network, which provides low-latency, high-speed connectivity across the globe.

Having a network of companies that can work together and share information is extremely beneficial. Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster even made it into space, something no other automaker has done.

Through relentless efficiency and a fresh perspective, he attempts to reduce the cost of a product by a factor of ten. One case in point is SpaceX, where it was believed that a significant portion of the cost of launching a rocket was attributable to the fact that the rocket had to be discarded after use.

For Elon, it's the equivalent of throwing away an aeroplane after every flight. What a brilliant plan, money saver, and major accomplishment SpaceX's self-landing rockets are!

Musk's other company, The Boring Company, is digging tunnels beneath major cities to make driving more quicker, which is something Tesla vehicles might use.

His ability to leverage information from across his companies gives Tesla a significant advantage over the competition.

Footnote

This post has been months in the making, with work beginning in September. In fact, Tesla wasn't even the world's sixth-largest company (as measured by market capitalization) until after their massive Q3 deliveries and financial results, when their stock price skyrocketed.

These new developments appear to lend credence to predictions that Tesla will become the largest company on the planet by the end of the decade.
